Online Desk:

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) issued a weather update on Monday, April 24, indicating that the country's temperature may rise over the next 72 hours.

The BMD says that the synoptic situation stays the same, with a low-level trough that goes from West Bengal to North Bay.

Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions may experience rain or thunder showers accompanied by brief gusty or squally winds, with isolated hailstorms, according to the forecast for the next few days.

In addition, the country's daytime and nighttime temperatures could rise by 1-2 °C, according to the BMD.

This information serves as a reminder to people to drink enough water and take the necessary precautions to avoid illnesses caused by heat during the coming warmer weather.

Everyone has been advised by experts to monitor the weather updates and take the necessary precautions to remain safe during the anticipated conditions.

Over the past few weeks, there had been moderate to severe heatwaves in the majority of the country.

Notwithstanding, on Friday (21 April), a day prior Eid-ul-Fitr, a deluge in Dhaka and somewhere else the nation over carried a murmur of help to individuals experiencing the burning intensity.
